Jessica Seim is a current undergrade student at Northern Arizona University studying music performance. She began playing the clarinet at age twelve. During high school she particiapted in the Arziona Central Region Honor band in 2022 and 2023 and also the Arizona All-State Honor band in 2023. Additionally Jessica was the principal clarinetist in the East Valley Youth Symphony in 2023. While at NAU Jessica has been a performer in NAU's symphonic band, wind symphony and symphony orchestra. In addition to large ensembles she has also participated in NAU's clarinet choir and various chamber groups. Jessica is currently studying under Kelsi Doolittle at NAU.
While also being an active musician Jessica is also a current member of the Alpha Chi chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, a co-ed music sorority that serves university bands and encourages women in music. Throughout her time in Tau Beta Sigma Jessica has performed in three benefit concets, an event that Alpha Chi hosts where donations go to various charities. She also served as the Director of Service Activities for the 2025-26 school year. During her time in the position Jessica planned many service events, including a sock drive in colaboration with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and also a small concert for Veteran's Day hosted at The Bluffs Senior Living.
As someone who had many opptunities due to lessons, Jessica is very excited to start teaching. She views it as a chance to share the love that she has for music and allow new generations to fall in love as she has.
